gift of life

I did not know Sandy. I know she was a woman around my age, a gentle soul, artist and a few weeks ago she was diagnosed with cancer. I was given this painting for my 50th birthday from my closest friends that everyday I am grateful for. I know that the gift of life is often not really appreciated as much as we ought to. I am honored that I have such a gift and this painting on my wall will always represent the gift of life. Rest in peace Sandy.
