lastest results, last course

My latest exam produced these remarks:

Hi Tisha,
You did really well on the test.

Here are your fabulous results:
Materia Medica 100%
Repertory 93%
Philosophy: 100%
Case: 97%

Average: 97%

Looks like I am slacking a bit but this one was harder than the last :)  I am now in my last segment to become a classical homeopath.  Staying on course, I continue to forge ahead with one of the most challenging segments of my life.  And still loving it all the way...

study study study

I am back; well for today to boast a moment. I have been studying hard since last summer and have not taken time as you can see to write in my blog the way I use to. It's all because of this study. I study study study all day long into the nights, 6 days a week, occasionally 7.  If there were more time in the day or week I would gladly find it to study more. I love it and it's proving to pay off. I recently completed the last Exam to allow me into the next segment of my journey to become a Classical Homeopath. I have to say I was scared; it was hard for me. I don't feel I test well and was not sure I would get 80% or more which is the pass or fail factor.

The Director of my school wrote this below as she knew I was fretting about passing. Today she advised me to pat myself on my back, so instead of that pat, I thought I would post my results.

Oh - you were so close to failing that test!

Results:
Materia Medica 100%
Repertory 100 %
Case 100%
(beautifully written, good remedy choice)
Philosophy 98%

Average 100%

Congratulations, what an excellent job done!

Starting the next segment, so excited!!!

gift of life

I did not know Sandy. I know she was a woman around my age, a gentle soul, artist and a few weeks ago she was diagnosed with cancer. I was given this painting for my 50th birthday from my closest friends that everyday I am grateful for. I know that the gift of life is often not really appreciated as much as we ought to. I am honored that I have such a gift and this painting on my wall will always represent the gift of life. Rest in peace Sandy.

fix your roof

I am so busy studying that I have not written in my post lately and while I hope to get back to my blog, my study for now is high priority.

Most days, I read what Dr. Mercola has to say. This website helps me learn more about basic health issues.
http://articles.mercola.com/sites

Today, I read the quote below.  I love how along with Homeopathy, our diet; what we feed ourselves, we must consider daily.

Dr. Perlutter wrote the following but the whole article is worth reading to understand some really basic issues.

“The time to fix the roof is when the sun is shining. That’s the segment of the population I really want to target – people who have not yet had cognitive issues but are at risk, which is basically all of us. In fact, this is the time to make the changes – while you’re still healthy. Time to cut back on the carbohydrates, increase your consumption of good fats, get out and exercise... these are the fundamentals that could keep these problems from happening in the first place.”

Homeopathy Gets Nod from US Congress

Look what I found in the National Center for Homeopathy newsletter  ~

Homeopathy Gets Nod from US Congress

Health freedom advocate, Rep. Dan Burton (R-Indiana), retired from the US House of Representatives at the end of 2012. In his retirement speech Rep. Burton offered his support for CAM therapies and urged his colleagues to protect the freedom of choice in healthcare:

"...These therapies include acupuncture, massage therapy, traditional healing systems from various cultures around the world such as Traditional East Asian Medicine, Kampo, Native American Medicine, homeopathy and energy therapies such as QiGong and Reiki as well as the use [sic] stress management tools and nutrition and dietary supplements. These also include conventional therapies used for purposes not yet recognized as mainstream such as Chelation Therapy for cardiovascular benefit.

I hope my colleagues in 2013 will continue to protect access [sic] therapies and products so that Americans can continue to make their own choices in health care and retain their health freedom."

The entirety of Rep. Burton's speech can be viewed as a part of the Congressional Record

I'm back

I'm back from the watering, back from summer break and back to my Studies finding my way to becoming a Classical Homeopath. Doing it differently now and loving it this way. It's all on my time, whatever time I want time. While I find it harder than the last year I still love it. That's how you know you really love something. The harder it gets the more I love it, the less I consider letting it go. So now, I pace myself. I don't let myself study more than 8 hours a day. I will try to study 5 days a week and take weekends off...well, I will try :)
Not saying I will commit to writing the way I use to write but I plan to begin again. See my blog's next post that will inspire my readers to understand and continuing implementing Homeopathy into your health and your lives.

garden to grow

I am thinking the summer is a time for reflection, a time to grow. Not weeds, but to replant some good healthy seeds and gain strength for another year of study. I had not taken a break since my last day at LASH, realizing this week my brain was turning out some weeds instead of growing flowers. So like the lovely Peace Whisperer says, I must cultivate my seeds so I can grow some more. Back soon as the watering is done.
I hope the Peace Whisperer does not mind using this, what a great image!
